GMA Pinoy TV brings star quality to 2010 Kababayan Fest in California

This year’s Kababayan Fest in the West Coast “ July 10 at the California’s Great America themed amusement park and July 17 in Knott’s Berry Farm in L.A. “ just got more stellar with the presence of some of the hottest GMA Pinoy TV stars!
Kababayan Fest’s first leg on July 10 at the grand California’s Great America themed amusement park was bannered by no less than Kapuso primetime star Rhian Ramos, StarStruck V Ultimate Male Survivor Steven Silva, and the Philippines’ RnB prince Jay-R.
On July 17, more GMA Pinoy TV stars “ Geoff Eigenman, Carla Abellana, StarStruck ultimate Survivors Kris Bernal, Jackie Rice, and Steven Silva, together with a number of other Filipino-American talents, led the fun in the Kababayan Fest in Knott’s Berry Farm in Los Angeles.
As the event’s official media partner, GMA Pinoy TV provided the fun and entertainment, much to the delight of the thousands of Filipino-Americans who attended both events.
“I am really proud to be a loyal GMA Pinoy TV subscriber here in the West Coast. Watching its shows makes me feel closer to home,” Leng Aguirre expressed.
“It’s also quite interesting to see the stars in person. It’s a different feeling when they’re performing in front of you. I’m glad I finally got to see them,” Leng’s teen daughter, Pinky said.”
Kababayan Fest is widely regarded as the West Coast’s biggest annual Filipino-American gathering, and this year’s fiesta in the Los Angeles was believed to be the biggest ever as it attracted an estimated 20,000 Filipino-Americans who joined the fun. It was made more special, of course, by the presence of GMA Pinoy TV stars who brought the house down with their performances.
