GMA Pinoy TV stars banner PIDC Mabuhay Festival

July 24 becomes a red-letter day for Toronto-based Pinoys this year with the biggest cultural community event of the year -- the Mabuhay Philippines! Toronto Summer Festival -- happening at the North Building Hall A and B of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada.
Joining this Saturday's festivities are Kapuso stars Katrina Halili, Mark Herras, Wendell Ramos, John Nite, and German “Kuya Germs” Moreno who are all expected to bring with them the GMA Pinoy TV brand of fun and entertainment. They will be present for a meet and greet and autograph signing session from 10:30 to 11:30 am, and from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
The Mabuhay Philippines! Toronto Summer Festival is the largest celebration of Philippine culture and heritage in Canada. Expecting no less than 15,000 attendees this year, the festival serves as a venue for Filipino-Canadian associations from different regions and academic institutions to showcase their talents to raise Philippine culture and heritage awareness amongst Canada-based Pinoys.
Organized by the Philippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) Toronto, this event is also supported by the Philippine Consulate and the Department of Tourism.
GMA Pinoy TV, the flagship international channel of Philippine broadcast giant GMA Network, is the official media partner of this year’s Mabuhay Philippines! Toronto Summer Festival.
