Darna Invades Japan Winner Announced

GMA Pinoy TV in cooperation with its affiliate in Japan, Access TV, mounted a successful Darna look alike contest that drew over a thousand Filipino kababayans last Sunday, November 22 to the Aprico Hall in Tokyo, entitled "Darna Invades Japan." Avid fans of the original Pinay superhero excitedly lined up for the meet and greet after the show to take souvenir shots with Marian Rivera, Mark Anthony Fernandez and host Arnell Ignacio. The winner was Ai Yamakami, a 19 year old senior high school student from Tokyo. She wins a round trip ticket for two to Manila and will be guesting in some TV shows like Showbiz Central.
