GMA's much-awaited international TV channels, GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV have launched successfully on UBI World TV.
The Filipino communities in Australia and New Zealand finally got their wish! GMA's much-awaited international TV channels, GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV as well as the top-rating radio stations DWLS FM and DZBB AM, have launched successfully on UBI World TV, the leading multi-cultural Direct-to-Home satellite pay TV and radio provider in Australia and New Zealand.
Called "UBI Pinoy", the Filipino Service top-billed by GMA's TV and radio channels was officially unveiled in Sydney on 25 June 2008 at a well-attended community event and press conference attended by Philippine diplomats, Filipino-Australian community leaders and friends, the media and businesses.
