Isang Tanong: The GMA N&PA Vice Presidential Forum airs this Sunday

Date : Jan 22, 2010 After the highly successful presidential forum held last November, GMA News and Public Affairs (N&PA) now brings Isang Tanong: The Vice Presidential Forum to convene and scrutinize candidates vying for the second highest elective position in the government.

In this historic television event, 2010 VP candidates, namely, Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay, Kapatiran’s Dominador Chipeco, Jr., former MMDA Chair Bayani Fernando, Senator Loren Legarda, Lakas Kampi CMD candidate Eduardo Manzano, Senator Mar Roxas, veteran newscaster and Kilusan ng Bagong Lipunan’s Jose Sonza, and Bangon Pilipinas’ bet Perfecto Yasay, Jr., lay down and bare their platforms to answer one question from the panel composed of GMA News’ Mel Tiangco, Jessica Soho, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, and Professor Winnie Monsod.

Other members of the panel include representatives from GMA Network's Eleksyon 2010 partners – Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), Institute for Political and Electoral Reform (IPER), Catholic Media Network (CMN), YouthVote, Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), and Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI), as well as those who fielded one question thru GMA News.TV.

Hosted by multi-awarded broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez, Isang Tanong: The Vice Presidential Forum attempts to make a more transparent account of the VP candidates’ intent in running for office. Isang Tanong: The GMA N&PA Vice Presidential Forum will air on GMA Pinoy TV, the flagship international channel of GMA Network, on January 31.
