GMA Pinoy TV’s Pinoy Dance Showdown Registration is Extended!

Date : Jul 22, 2009 Last chance to register and upload your dance videos! Registration for GMA Pinoy TV’s Pinoy Dance Showdown, the ultimate dance showdown for dance crews in the U.S. and Canada , has been extended up to July 25.

Sign up, upload your crew’s dance video, and be part of the hottest dance showdown from GMA Pinoy TV, in cooperation with Western Union, that will showcase the most awesome hip hop moves this side of the world while also bringing Pinoy communities in the U.S. and Canada together.

PINOY DANCE SHOWDOWN will have its Canada --East finale at the Queen Elizabeth Theater in Toronto , Canada on August 8. The following day, August 9, will have the dance competition’s U.S. East Coast finalists strutting their stuff at the Marist High School Gym in New Jersey .

The East Coast finals will be an ADIK SA YO weekend with Marvin Agustin and Pauleen Luna. Marvin plays Jolina Magdangal’s love interest in the hit romantic comedy series directed by Joel Lamangan. Pauleen, on the other hand, is part of the love triangle involving ADIK SA YO lead stars Dennis Trillo and Jennica Garcia. The Philippines ’ R&B prince Jay-R will also grace the event.

On August 14, PINOY DANCE SHOWDOWN will set the U.S. --West dance floor on fire at the Heritage Forum in Anaheim , California . And on August 16, dance crews from Canada --West get to face each other in a showdown at the Massey Theater in New Westminster , British Columbia .

The West Coast finals will again have Jay-R, together with the Philippines' Bad Boy of the Dance Floor Mark Herras and ZORRO leading lady Rhian Ramos. ROSALINDA villain Katrina Halili, who was recently included in the Top Five Sexiest Pinays by FHM, will also be part of the event.
